Chandogya Upanishad 3.21

स यावदादित्यः पुरस्तादुदेता पश्चादस्तमेता वसूनामेव तावदाधिपत्यꣳस्वाराज्यं पर्येता ॥ ४ ॥

3.6.4 — sa yavadadityah purastadudeta pashchadastameta vasunameva tavadadhipatyamsvarajyam paryeta || 4 ||

So long as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so long does he follow the sovereign supremacy of the Vasus.

जब तक आदित्य पूर्व में उदित होकर पश्चिम में अस्त होता है, तब तक वह वसुओं के आधिपत्य तथा स्वराज्य को प्राप्त रहता है।
