Chandogya Upanishad 3.32

स यावदादित्यः पश्चादुदेता पुरस्तादस्तमेता द्विस्तावदुत्तरत उदेता दक्षिणतोऽस्तमेता मरुतामेव तावदाधिपत्य्ꣳस्वाराज्यं पर्येता ॥ ४ ॥

3.9.4 — sa yavadadityah pashchadudeta purastadastameta dvistavaduttarata udeta dakshinato'stameta marutameva tavadadhipatymsvarajyam paryeta || 4 ||

So long as the sun rises in the west and sets ​in the east, twice as long does it rise in the north and set in the south; and so long does he follow the sovereign supremacy of the Maruts.

जब तक आदित्य पश्चिम में उदय और पूर्व में अस्त होता है, उससे दुगुने समय तक वह उत्तर में उदय और दक्षिण में अस्त होता है; तब तक वह मरुतों के आधिपत्य तथा स्वराज्य को प्राप्त रहता है।
