Chandogya Upanishad 3.4

तद्व्यक्षरत्तदादित्यमभितोऽश्रयत्तद्वा एतद्यदेतदादित्यस्य रोहितꣳरूपम् ॥ ४ ॥

3.1.4 — tadvyaksharattadadityamabhito'shrayattadva etadyadetadadityasya rohitamrupam || 4 ||

That (essence) flowed forth and went towards the sun. And that forms what we call the red (rohita) light of the rising sun.

वह रस बह निकला और जाकर आदित्य के चारों ओर आश्रित हो गया; यही सूर्य का जो लालिमा-रूप (रोहित रूप) है, वह है।
