Chandogya Upanishad 3.52

तस्य ह वा एतस्य हृदयस्य पञ्च देवसुषयः स योऽस्य प्राङ्सुषिः स प्राणस्तच्चक्षुः स आदित्यस्तदेतत्तेजोऽन्नाद्यमित्युपासीत तेजस्व्यन्नादो भवति य एवं वेद ॥ १ ॥

3.13.1 — tasya ha va etasya hridayasya pancha devasushayah sa yo'sya pransushih sa pranastachchakshuh sa aadityastadetattejo'nnadyamityupasita tejasvyannado bhavati ya evam veda || 1 ||

For that heart there are five gates belonging to the Devas (the senses). The eastern gate is the Prâna (up-breathing), that is the eye, that is Âditya (the sun). Let a man meditate on that as brightness (glory of countenance) and health. He who knows, this, becomes bright and healthy.

इस हृदय के पाँच देव-द्वार हैं। उसका जो पूर्व की ओर का द्वार है, वह प्राण है, वही चक्षु है, वही आदित्य है; उसकी तेज तथा अन्नाद्य के रूप में उपासना करे। जो ऐसा जानता है, वह तेजस्वी तथा अन्नाद होता है।
