Chandogya Upanishad 3.62

अन्तरिक्षोदरः कोशो भूमिबुध्नो न जीर्यति दिशो ह्यस्य स्रक्तयो द्यौरस्योत्तरं बिलꣳस एष कोशो वसुधानस्तस्मिन्विश्वमिदꣳश्रितम् ॥ १ ॥

3.15.1 — antarikshodarah kosho bhumibudhno na jiryati disho hyasya sraktayo dyaurasyottaram bilamsa esha kosho vasudhanastasminvishvamidamshritam || 1 ||

The chest which has the sky for its circumference and the earth for its bottom, does not decay, for the quarters are its sides, and heaven its lid above. That chest is a treasury, and all things are within it.

अन्तरिक्ष जिसका उदर है, पृथ्वी जिसका तल है, जो जीर्ण नहीं होता, दिशाएँ जिसके बाजू हैं, द्युलोक जिसका ऊपरी छिद्र है — यह कोश वसु-धान (धन का कोष) है; इसमें यह सब विश्व आश्रित है।
