Chandogya Upanishad 4.15

यदाप उच्छुष्यन्ति वायुमेवापियन्ति वायुर्ह्येवैतान्सर्वान्संवृङ्क्त इत्यधिदैवतम् ॥ २ ॥

4.3.2 — yadapa uchchhushyanti vayumevapiyanti vayurhyevaitansarvansamvrinkta ityadhidaivatam || 2 ||

'When water dries up, it goes into air. Air indeed consumes them all. So much with reference to the Devas.

'जब जल सूखता है, वह वायु में ही लीन हो जाता है; वायु ही इन सबको समेट लेता है — यह अधिदैवत-दृष्टि से कहा गया।'
