Chandogya Upanishad 4.46

तं जायोवाच तप्तो ब्रह्मचारी कुशलमग्नीन्परिचचारीन्मा त्वाग्नयः परिप्रवोचन्प्रब्रूह्यस्मा इति तस्मै हाप्रोच्यैव प्रवासाञ्चक्रे ॥ २ ॥

4.10.2 — tam jayovacha tapto brahmachari kushalamagninparichacharinma tvagnayah paripravochanprabruhyasma iti tasmai haprochyaiva pravasanchakre || 2 ||

Then his wife said to him: 'This student, who is quite exhausted (with austerities), has carefully tended your fires. Let not the fires themselves blame you, but teach him.' The teacher, however, went away on a journey without having taught him.

तब (आचार्य की) पत्नी ने उससे कहा — 'यह ब्रह्मचारी तपाया हुआ है, इसने कुशलपूर्वक अग्नियों की सेवा की है; अग्नियाँ आपकी निन्दा न करें — इसे उपदेश दीजिए।' पर वह बिना उपदेश दिये ही यात्रा पर चला गया।
