Chandogya Upanishad 4.56

ते होचुरुपकोसलैषा सोम्य तेऽस्मद्विद्यात्मविद्या चाचार्यस्तु ते गतिं वक्तेत्याजगाम हास्याचार्यस्तमाचार्योऽभ्युवादोपकोसल३ इति ॥ १ ॥

4.14.1 — te hochurupakosalaisha somya te'smadvidyatmavidya chacharyastu te gatim vaktetyajagama hasyacharyastamacharyo'bhyuvadopakosala3 iti || 1 ||

Then they all said: 'Upakosala, this is our knowledge, our friend, and the knowledge of the Self, but the teacher will tell you the way (to another life).'

उन (अग्नियों) ने कहा — 'हे उपकोसल, हे सौम्य, यह हमारी विद्या तथा आत्म-विद्या तेरे लिए हुई; शेष गति तो आचार्य ही तुझे बताएँगे।' तत्पश्चात् उसके आचार्य लौट आये; आचार्य ने उसे पुकारा — 'उपकोसल!'
