Chandogya Upanishad 5.32

५.४ असौ वाव लोको गौतमाग्निस्तस्यादित्य एव समिद्रश्मयो धूमोऽहरर्चिश्चन्द्रमा अङ्गारा नक्षत्राणि विस्फुलिङ्गाः ॥ १ ॥

5.4.1 — 5.4 asau vava loko gautamagnistasyaditya eva samidrashmayo dhumo'hararchishchandrama angara nakshatrani visphulingah || 1 ||

'The altar (on which the sacrifice is supposed to be offered) is that world (heaven), O Gautama; its fuel is the sun itself, the smoke his rays, the light the day, the coals the moon, the sparks the stars.

'हे गौतम, वह अमुक लोक (द्युलोक) ही अग्नि है। उसका आदित्य ही समिधा, रश्मियाँ धूम, दिन अर्चि, चन्द्रमा अंगार, नक्षत्र विस्फुलिंग हैं।'
