Chandogya Upanishad 5.50

तद्य इह रमणीयचरणा अभ्याशो ह यत्ते रमणीयां योनिमापद्येरन्ब्राह्मणयोनिं वा क्षत्रिययोनिं वा वैश्ययोनिं वाथ य इह कपूयचरणा अभ्याशो ह यत्ते कपूयां योनिमापद्येरन् श्वयोनिं वा सूकरयोनिं वा चण्डालयोनिं वा ॥७॥

5.10.7 — tadya iha ramaniyacharana abhyasho ha yatte ramaniyam yonimapadyeranbrahmanayonim va kshatriyayonim va vaishyayonim vatha ya iha kapuyacharana abhyasho ha yatte kapuyam yonimapadyeran shvayonim va sukarayonim va chandalayonim va ||7||

Accordingly, those who are of pleasant conduct here — the prospect is, indeed, that they will enter a pleasant womb, either the womb of a Brahman, or the womb of a Kshatriya, or the womb of a Vai£ya. But those who are of stinking conduct here — the prospect is, indeed, that they will enter a stinking womb, either the womb of a dog, or the womb of a swine, or the womb of an outcast (canddla}.

'जो लोग यहाँ रमणीय आचरण वाले होते हैं, उनके लिए सम्भावना है कि वे रमणीय योनि प्राप्त करें — ब्राह्मण-योनि, क्षत्रिय-योनि, या वैश्य-योनि। और जो यहाँ कपूय आचरण वाले होते हैं, उनके लिए सम्भावना है कि वे कपूय योनि पायें — श्वान-योनि, शूकर-योनि, या चण्डाल-योनि।'
