Chandogya Upanishad 5.52

स्तेनो हिरण्यस्य सुरां पिबँश्च गुरोस्तल्पमावसन्ब्रह्महा चैते पतन्ति चत्वारः पञ्चमश्चाचरँस्तैरिति ॥ ९ ॥

5.10.9 — steno hiranyasya suram pibanshcha gurostalpamavasanbrahmaha chaite patanti chatvarah panchamashchacharanstairiti || 9 ||

'A man who steals gold, who drinks spirits, ​who dishonours his Guru's bed, who kills a Brahman, these four fall, and as a fifth he who associates with them.

'स्वर्णचोर, सुरा-पायी, गुरु-शय्या का संसर्ग करने वाला, ब्रह्महत्यारा — ये चार पतित होते हैं; और पाँचवाँ वह, जो इनके साथ संगत करता है।'
