Chandogya Upanishad 6.13

सेयं देवतैक्षत हन्ताहमिमास्तिस्रो देवता अनेन जीवेनात्मनानुप्रविश्य नामरूपे व्याकरवाणीति ॥ २ ॥

6.3.2 — seyam devataikshata hantahamimastisro devata anena jivenatmananupravishya namarupe vyakaravaniti || 2 ||

'That Being (i.e. that which had produced fire, water, and earth) thought, let me now enter those three beings (fire, water, earth) with this living ​Self (gîva âtmâ), and let me then reveal (develop) names and forms.

'उस देवता (सत्) ने संकल्प किया — "मैं अब इन तीनों देवताओं (तेज, जल, अन्न) में इस जीव-आत्मा द्वारा प्रविष्ट होकर नाम और रूप का विस्तार करूँ।"'
