Chandogya Upanishad 7.36

अथ यद्यप्येनानुत्क्रान्तप्राणाञ्छूलेन समासं व्यतिषंदहेन्नैवैनं ब्रूयुः पितृहासीति न मातृहासीति न भ्रातृहासीति न स्वसृहासीति नाचार्यहासीति न ब्राह्मणहासीति ॥ ३ ॥

7.15.3 — atha yadyapyenanutkrantaprananchhulena samasam vyatishamdahennaivainam bruyuh pitrihasiti na matrihasiti na bhratrihasiti na svasrihasiti nacharyahasiti na brahmanahasiti || 3 ||

'But, if after the spirit has departed from them, one shoves them together with a poker, and burns them to pieces, no one would say, Thou offendest thy father, mother, brother, sister, tutor or a Brâhmana.

'परन्तु जब उनमें से प्राण निकल जाये, तब यदि कोई उन्हें शूल (लकड़ी) से इकट्ठा करके पूर्णतः जलाये, तब भी कोई यह नहीं कहता — 'तू पितृहा है, मातृहा है, भ्रातृहा, स्वस्रुहा, आचार्यहा, ब्राह्मणहा है।'
