Chandogya Upanishad 8.55

अशरीरो वायुरभ्रं विद्युत्स्तनयित्नुरशरीराण्येतानि तद्यथैतान्यमुष्मादाकाशात्समुत्थाय परं ज्योतिरुपसंपद्य स्वेन रूपेणाभिनिष्पद्यन्ते ॥ २ ॥

8.12.2 — ashariro vayurabhram vidyutstanayitnurashariranyetani tadyathaitanyamushmadakashatsamutthaya param jyotirupasampadya svena rupenabhinishpadyante || 2 ||

'The wind is without body, the cloud, lightning, and thunder are without body (without hands, feet, &c.) Now as these, arising from this heavenly ether (space), appear in their own form, as soon as they have approached the highest light,

'वायु, अभ्र (बादल), विद्युत्, स्तनयित्नु (गर्जन) — ये अशरीर हैं। जैसे ये उस आकाश से उठकर परम-ज्योति में पहुँचकर अपने स्वरूप में अभिनिष्पन्न होते हैं —'
