Chandogya Upanishad 8.7

स यदि पितृलोककामो भवति सङ्कल्पादेवास्य पितरः समुत्तिष्ठन्ति तेन पितृलोकेन सम्पन्नो महीयते ॥ १ ॥

8.2.1 — sa yadi pitrilokakamo bhavati sankalpadevasya pitarah samuttishthanti tena pitrilokena sampanno mahiyate || 1 ||

'Thus he who desires the world of the fathers, by his mere will the fathers come to receive him, and having obtained the world of the fathers, he is happy.

'यदि वह पितृ-लोक की कामना करे, तो उसके संकल्प से ही पितर उठ खड़े होते हैं; उस पितृ-लोक से सम्पन्न होकर वह महिमान्वित होता है।'
