Dhammapada 14.9

अपि दिब्बेसु कामेसु, रतिं सो नाधिगच्छति। तण्हक्खयरतो होति, सम्मासम्बुद्धसावको॥

api dibbesu kamesu, ratim so nadhigacchati; tankhakkhayarato hoti, sammasambuddhasavako.

Even in heavenly pleasures one finds no delight. The disciple of the Fully Awakened One delights only in the destruction of craving.

दिव्य (स्वर्गीय) कामों में भी वह रति नहीं पाता। सम्यक्-सम्बुद्ध का श्रावक तृष्णा-क्षय में ही रत रहता है।
