Dhammapada 18.16

यस्स चेतं समुच्छिन्नं, मूलघच्चं समूहतं। स वे दिवा वा रत्तिं वा, समाधिमधिगच्छति॥

yassa cetam samucchinnam, mulaghaccam samuhutam; sa ve diva va rattim va, samadhim adhigacchati.

But the one in whom this envy is cut off, uprooted and destroyed — such a one attains concentration by day and by night.

किंतु जिसकी वह ईर्ष्या जड़ से उखाड़ी और नष्ट की गई हो — वह दिन हो या रात — समाधि को प्राप्त करता है।
