Dhammapada 20.14

इध वस्सं वसिस्सामि, इध हेमन्तगिम्हिसु। इति बालो विचिन्तेति, अन्तरायं न बुज्झति॥

idha vassam vasissami, idha hemanta-gimhisu; iti balo vicinteti, antarayam na bujjhati.

'Here I shall dwell in the rains; here in winter and summer' — thus the fool muses, not understanding the danger of death.

'यहाँ वर्षा में रहूँगा, यहाँ शीत में, यहाँ ग्रीष्म में' — ऐसा मूढ़ सोचता है; वह मृत्यु के अंतराय को नहीं समझता।
