Dhammapada 22.4

चत्तारि ठानानि नरो पमत्तो आपज्जति परदारूपसेवी। अपुञ्ञलाभं न निकामसेय्यं निन्दं ततीयं निरयं चतुत्थं॥

cattari thanani naro pamatto apajjati paradarupasevi, apunnalabham na nikamaseyyam nindam tatiyam nirayam catuttham.

Four misfortunes befall the heedless one who consorts with another's spouse: acquisition of demerit, disturbed sleep, blame as the third, and a state of woe as the fourth.

परस्त्रीगामी प्रमादी पुरुष को चार स्थान प्राप्त होते हैं — अपुण्य का लाभ, इच्छित निद्रा का अभाव, तीसरा निंदा, और चौथा निरय।
