Dhammapada 24.16

वितक्कपमथितस्स जन्तुनो तिब्बरागस्स सुभानुपस्सिनो। भिय्यो तण्हा पवड्ढति एसो खो दळ्हं करोति बन्धनं॥

vitakkapamathitassa jantuno tibbbaragassa subhanupassino, bhiyyo tanha pavaddhati eso kho dalham karoti bandhanam.

In one who is assailed by thoughts, fierce in passion, seeing only the beautiful — craving grows all the more. That one makes the bond ever stronger.

वितर्कों से प्रमथित, तीव्र-राग वाला, शुभ का ही दर्शन करने वाला पुरुष — उसकी तृष्णा और भी बढ़ती है; वही बंधन को और दृढ़ करता है।
