Dhammapada 25.23

यो हवे दहरो भिक्खु युञ्जति बुद्धसासने। सो'मं लोकं पभासेति अब्भा मुत्तो'व चन्दिमा॥

yo have daharo bhikkhu yunjati buddhasasane, so'mam lokam pabhaseti abbha mutto'va candima.

The young monk who devotes oneself to the Buddha's teaching illumines this world, like the moon freed from a cloud.

जो तरुण भिक्षु बुद्ध-शासन में अपने को नियुक्त करता है, वह इस लोक को वैसे ही प्रकाशित करता है — जैसे बादल से मुक्त होकर चंद्रमा।
