Dhammapada 25.4

यो मुखसञ्ञतो भिक्खु मन्तभाणी अनुद्धतो। अत्थं धम्मञ्च दीपेति मधुरं तस्स भासितं॥

yo mukhasannato bhikkhu mantabhani anudddhato, attham dhammanca dipeti madhuram tassa bhasitam.

The monk who is restrained in tongue, who speaks wisely without arrogance, who illuminates the meaning and the Dhamma — sweet is the speech of that one.

जो भिक्षु मुख से संयत है, मंत्रवत् (विवेकपूर्वक) बोलने वाला है, अनुद्धत है, और जो अर्थ तथा धर्म को प्रकाशित करता है — उसका भाषण मधुर होता है।
