Dhammapada 26.40

उसभं पवरं वीरं महेसिं विजितावनं। अनेजं न्हातकं बुद्धं तमहं ब्रूमि ब्राह्मणं॥

usabham pavaram viram mahesim vijitavinam, anejam nhatakam buddham tamaham brumi brahmanam.

The noble bull, the excellent one, the hero, the great sage, the conqueror, the imperturbable, the cleansed, the enlightened — that one I call a brahmana.

जो ऋषभ, प्रवर, वीर, महर्षि, विजेता, अनेज, स्नातक और बुद्ध है — उसे मैं ब्राह्मण कहता हूँ।
