Dhammapada 3.7

अनवस्सुतचित्तस्स अनन्वाहतचेतसो | पुञ्ञपापपहीनस्स नत्थि जागरतो भयं ॥

anavassutachittassa ananvahatachetaso | punnapapaphinassa natthi jagarato bhayam ||

For one whose mind is not soaked by passion, whose heart is not afflicted by hatred, who has gone beyond both merit and demerit — for such a wakeful one there is no fear.

जिसका चित्त राग से अनास्रावित (भीगा हुआ नहीं) है, जिसका मन द्वेष से आहत नहीं है, जो पुण्य-पाप दोनों से परे हो चुका है — ऐसे जागरूक पुरुष के लिए कोई भय नहीं है।
