Dhammapada 4.2

सेक्खो पठविं विजेस्सति यमलोकञ्च इमं सदेवकं | सेक्खो धम्मपदं सुदेसितं कुसलो पुप्फमिव पचेस्सति ॥

sekkho pathavim vijessati yamalokañcha imam sadevakam | sekkho dhammapadam sudesitam kusalo puppham iva pachessati ||

The disciple-in-training shall conquer this earth, the realm of Yama, and this world with its gods. The trainee shall discern the well-taught path of Dhamma, as a skilled flower-arranger selects a flower.

शैक्ष (शिक्षमाण शिष्य) इस पृथ्वी को जीतेगा, यमलोक को और इस सदेवक लोक को। शैक्ष सुदेशित धर्मपद को वैसे ही चुनेगा जैसे कुशल माली पुष्प को।
