Dhammapada 4.9

यथापि रुचिरं पुप्फं वण्णवन्तं सगन्धकं | एवं सुभासिता वाचा सफला होति सकुब्बतो ॥

yathapi ruchiram puppham vannavantam sagandhakam | evam subhasita vacha saphala hoti sakubbato ||

Like a beautiful flower that is colourful and also fragrant, so are the well-spoken words of one who practises them — fruitful.

जैसे रुचिर पुष्प वर्णवान् और सुगन्धित हो — वैसे ही आचरण करने वाले की सुभाषित वाणी सफल होती है।
