Dhammapada 5.6

मुहुत्तमपि चे विञ्ञू पण्डितं पयिरुपासति | खिप्पं धम्मं विजानाति जिव्हा सूपरसं यथा ॥

muhuttamapi che vinnu panditam payirupasati | khippam dhammam vijanati jivha suparasam yatha ||

If an intelligent person associates with a wise one even for a moment, he quickly understands the Dhamma, just as the tongue knows the taste of the soup.

परन्तु विज्ञ पुरुष एक क्षण भी पण्डित की सेवा करे, तो शीघ्र ही धर्म को जान लेता है — जैसे जिह्वा सूप के रस को।
