Dhammapada 5.7

चरन्ति बाला दुम्मेधा अमित्तेनेव अत्तना | करोन्ता पापकं कम्मं यं होति कटुकप्फलं ॥

charanti bala dummedha amitteneva attana | karonta papakam kammam yam hoti katukappphalam ||

Fools with little understanding go about with the self as their own enemy, doing evil deeds that bear bitter fruit.

दुर्मेधा बाल अपने ही शत्रु बनकर विचरते हैं; वे ऐसे पापकर्म करते हैं जिनका फल कटु होता है।
