Guru Granth Sahib 1.15

ਮੰਨੈ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮੋਖੁ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥ ਮੰਨੈ ਪਰਵਾਰੈ ਸਾਧਾਰੁ ॥ ਮੰਨੈ ਤਰੈ ਤਾਰੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਿਖ ॥ ਮੰਨੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਵਹਿ ਨ ਭਿਖ ॥ ਐਸਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਨਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਨਿ ਕੋਇ ॥੧੪॥

mannai paavahi mokh duaar. mannai parvaarai saadhaar. mannai tarai taare gur sikh. mannai naanak bhavahi na bhikh. aisaa naam niranjan hoi. je ko mann jaanai man koi.

The faithful find the Door of Liberation. The faithful uplift and redeem their family and relations. The faithful are saved, and carried across with the Sikhs of the Guru. The faithful, O Nanak, do not wander around begging. Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord. Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind.

श्रद्धालु मोक्ष का द्वार पा जाते हैं। श्रद्धालु अपने परिवार को भी तार देते हैं। श्रद्धालु गुरु-सिख के साथ तरते और तारते हैं। हे नानक, श्रद्धालु भीख माँगते नहीं फिरते। ऐसा है उस निरंजन का नाम। यदि कोई श्रद्धा से जाने, तभी मन में जानता है।
