Guru Granth Sahib 2.35

ਏ ਮਨ ਮੇਰਿਆ ਤੂ ਸਦਾ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ ॥ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ ਤਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਤਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਸਭ ਦੇਹ ਤੇ ਖੋਈ ॥ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਚਹੁ ਕੁੰਡੀ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਣੀਐ ॥ ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ ॥੩੫॥

e man meriaa too sadaa sach samaaveh. sach samaaveh taa gun gaaveh taa sukh hoee. sukh hoee naam man vasai dukh darad sabh deh te khoee. guroo te naam paaeeai chahu kundee sach suneeai. kahai naanak mann mere sach samaaveh.

O my mind, merge forever in the Truth. Merging in the Truth, you shall sing His praises, and you shall find peace. When the Name abides in the mind, peace prevails and all pain and suffering leave the body. From the Guru, the Name is obtained — the Truth is heard in all four directions. Says Nanak, O my mind, merge forever in the Truth.

हे मेरे मन, तू सदा सत्य में समा। सत्य में समाएगा तो गुण गाएगा, और सुख होगा। सुख तब होगा जब नाम मन में बसेगा; दुख-दर्द सब शरीर से निकलेंगे। गुरु से नाम मिलता है; चारों दिशाओं में सच्चा ही सुनाई देता है। नानक कहते हैं — हे मेरे मन, सत्य में समा।
