ਝੀਨੀ ਝੀਨੀ ਬੀਨੀ ਚਦਰੀਆ ॥ ਕਾਹੇ ਕੈ ਤਾਨਾ ਕਾਹੇ ਕੈ ਭਰਨੀ ਕਉਨ ਤਾਰ ਸੇ ਬੀਨੀ ਚਦਰੀਆ ॥ ਇੰਗਲਾ ਪਿੰਗਲਾ ਤਾਨਾ ਭਰਨੀ ਸੁਖਮਨ ਤਾਰ ਸੇ ਬੀਨੀ ਚਦਰੀਆ ॥

jheeni jheeni beeni chadariya. kahe kai tana kahe kai bharni kaun taar se beeni chadariya. ingala pingala tana bharni sukhman taar se beeni chadariya.

Finely, finely woven is this cloth of the body. What was the warp, what was the weft, what thread was used to weave this cloth? The ida and pingala channels are the warp and weft, and the sushumna is the thread with which this cloth was woven.

महीन-महीन बुनी हुई है यह चादर (शरीर)। किसका ताना, किसकी भरनी, कौन से तार से यह चादर बुनी गई? इड़ा-पिंगला ताना-भरनी हैं, सुषुम्ना के तार से यह चादर बुनी गई है।
