Guru Granth Sahib 6.2

ਬੇਗਮ ਪੁਰਾ ਸਹਰ ਕੋ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਦੂਖੁ ਅੰਦੋਹੁ ਨਹੀ ਤਿਹਿ ਠਾਉ ॥ ਨਾਂ ਤਸਵੀਸ ਖਿਰਾਜੁ ਨ ਮਾਲੁ ॥ ਖਉਫੁ ਨ ਖਤਾ ਨ ਤਰਸੁ ਜਵਾਲੁ ॥

begampura sahar ko naau. dookh andohu nahee tihi thaau. naan tasavees khiraaj na maal. khauf na khataa na taras javaal.

Begampura — the city without sorrow — is its name. There is no suffering or anxiety there. There are no worries about taxes or property. There is no fear, no blame, no dread of descent.

'बेगमपुरा' — उस नगर का नाम। वहाँ दुख-चिंता नहीं। न कर, न खिराज, न माल की तसवीस (चिंता)। न ख़ौफ़, न ख़ता, न पतन का त्रास।
