Katha Upanishad 4.6

अणोरणीयान्महतो महीयानात्मा गुहायां निहितोऽस्य जन्तोः | तमक्रतुः पश्यति वीतशोको धातुप्रसादान्महिमानमात्मनः ॥

anor aniyan mahato mahiyan atma guhayam nihito'sya jantoh | tam akratuh pashyati vita-shoko dhatu-prasadan mahimanam atmanah ||

Subtler than the subtle, greater than the great, the Self is hidden in the cave of the heart of every creature. He who is free from desire, with sorrow gone, beholds the glory of the Self through the grace of the Creator.

अणु से भी सूक्ष्मतर, महान् से भी महान् — यह आत्मा प्रत्येक प्राणी की हृदय-गुहा में निहित है। निष्काम, शोक-रहित पुरुष धातुओं की (इन्द्रिय-मन की) प्रसन्नता से आत्मा की उस महिमा को देख लेता है।
