Mundaka Upanishad 2.11

तपःश्रद्धे ये ह्युपवसन्त्यरण्ये शान्ता विद्वांसो भैक्ष्यचर्यां चरन्तः | सूर्यद्वारेण ते विरजाः प्रयान्ति यत्रामृतः स पुरुषो ह्यव्ययात्मा ॥

tapah-shraddhe ye hy upavasanty aranye shanta vidvamso bhaikshya-charyam charantah | surya-dvarena te virajah prayanti yatramritah sa purusho hy avyayatma ||

But those who practise austerity and faith in the forest, the tranquil knowers who live the life of a mendicant — they, purified, pass through the gate of the sun to where that immortal Person dwells, the imperishable Self.

किन्तु जो तपस्या और श्रद्धा में वन में निवास करते हैं — शान्त विद्वान्, भिक्षाचर्या करते हुए — वे निर्मल होकर सूर्य-द्वार से वहाँ जाते हैं जहाँ वह अमर पुरुष, अव्यय आत्मा है।
