Mundaka Upanishad 2.4

काली कराली च मनोजवा च सुलोहिता या च सुधूम्रवर्णा | स्फुलिङ्गिनी विश्वरुची च देवी लेलायमाना इति सप्त जिह्वाः ॥

kali karali cha manojava cha sulohita ya cha sudhumra-varna | sphulingini vishvaruchi cha devi lelayamana iti sapta jihvah ||

Kali (the black), Karali (the terrifying), Manojava (swift as thought), Sulohita (the deep red), Sudhumravarna (the smoke-coloured), Sphulingini (the sparkling), and Vishvaruchi (the all-beautiful) — these are the seven flickering tongues of the fire.

काली, कराली, मनोजवा, सुलोहिता, सुधूम्रवर्णा, स्फुलिङ्गिनी और विश्वरुची — ये लहराती हुई सात जिह्वाएँ अग्नि देवी की हैं।
