Mundaka Upanishad 2.5

एतेषु यश्चरते भ्राजमानेषु यथाकालं चाहुतयो ह्याददायन् | तं नयन्त्येताः सूर्यस्य रश्मयो यत्र देवानां पतिरेकोऽधिवासः ॥

eteshu yash charate bhrajamaneshu yathakalam chahutayo hy adadayan | tam nayanty etah suryasya rashmayo yatra devanam patir eko'dhivasah ||

He who performs the fire-rites when these flames are blazing, offering oblations at the proper time — these carry him as rays of the sun to where the one lord of the gods dwells.

जो इन जाज्वल्यमान ज्वालाओं में यथासमय आहुति देते हुए हवन करता है, उसे ये सूर्य की रश्मियाँ बनकर वहाँ ले जाती हैं जहाँ देवताओं का एकमात्र अधिपति निवास करता है।
