Mundaka Upanishad 3.8

सप्त प्राणाः प्रभवन्ति तस्मात्सप्तार्चिषः समिधः सप्त होमाः | सप्त इमे लोका येषु चरन्ति प्राणा गुहाशया निहिताः सप्त सप्त ॥

sapta pranah prabhavanti tasmat saptarchisah samidhah sapta homah | sapta ime loka yeshu charanti prana guhashaya nihitah sapta sapta ||

From Him arise the seven breaths, the seven flames, the seven kinds of fuel, the seven oblations, and these seven worlds in which move the breaths, set in the secret place, seven and seven.

उससे सात प्राण, सात ज्वालाएँ, सात समिधाएँ, सात होम और ये सात लोक उत्पन्न होते हैं — जिनमें गुहा में स्थित प्राण सात-सात की संख्या में विचरण करते हैं।
