Mundaka Upanishad 4.3

धनुर्गृहीत्वौपनिषदं महास्त्रं शरं ह्युपासानिशितं सन्दधीत | आयम्य तद्भावगतेन चेतसा लक्ष्यं तदेवाक्षरं सोम्य विद्धि ॥

dhanur grihitvaupanishadam mahastram sharam hy upasa-nishitam sandadhita | ayamya tad-bhava-gatena chetasa lakshyam tad evaksharam somya viddhi ||

Taking the great weapon of the Upanishad as the bow, fix on it the arrow sharpened by meditation. Draw it with a mind absorbed in the thought of Brahman. The target is that Imperishable — hit it, O gentle one!

उपनिषद्-रूपी महान् धनुष को लेकर, उपासना से तीक्ष्ण किए हुए बाण को उस पर सन्धान करो। ब्रह्म-भाव में लीन चित्त से खींचकर — हे सौम्य! उसी अक्षर-लक्ष्य को बेधो।
