Rig Veda 12.5

येन द्यौरुग्रा पृथिवी च दृळ्हा येन स्वः स्तभितं येन नाकः । यो अन्तरिक्षे रजसो विमानः कस्मै देवाय हविषा विधेम ॥

yena dyaur ugra prithivi cha drilha yena svah stabhitam yena nakah | yo antarikshhe rajaso vimanah kasmai devaya havisha vidhema

By whom the mighty heaven and the firm earth were established, by whom the light and the vault of heaven were fixed, who measured out the atmosphere — to which god shall we offer our sacrifice?

जिनसे उग्र द्यौ और दृढ़ पृथ्वी स्थापित हुए, जिनसे स्वर्ग और नाक स्थिर हुए, जिन्होंने अन्तरिक्ष के रजो का मान किया। किस देव को हम हवि से पूजें?
