Rig Veda 13.7

अहं सुवे पितरमस्य मूर्धन्मम योनिरप्स्वन्तः समुद्रे । ततो वि तिष्ठे भुवनानु विश्वोतामूं द्यां वर्ष्मणोप स्पृशामि ॥

aham suve pitaram asya murdhan mama yonir apsv antah samudre | tato vi tishthe bhuvananu vishvota amum dyam varshhmana upa sprishami

I give birth to the father on the head of this world. My origin is in the waters, in the ocean. From there I spread through all beings, and with my form I touch the sky above.

मैं इस जगत् के मूर्धा पर पिता को जन्म देती हूँ; मेरा उद्गम जलों में है, समुद्र के भीतर। वहाँ से मैं समस्त भुवनों में फैलती हूँ, और अपनी काया से द्यौ को भी छू लेती हूँ।
