Rig Veda 2.4

यदिन्द्राहन्प्रथमजामहीनामान्मायिनाममिनाः प्रोत मायाः । आत्सूर्यं जनयन्द्यामुषासं तादीत्नाशत्रुं न किला विविन्दे ॥

yad indra ahan prathamajam ahinam an mayinam aminah prota mayah | at suryam janayan dyam ushasam tadit na shatrum na kila vivinde

When you, O Indra, slew the firstborn of the serpents and overcame the illusions of the illusionists, then bringing forth the sun, the sky, and the dawn, you found no enemy to oppose you.

हे इन्द्र, जब तुमने अहियों के प्रथमजात को मारा और मायावियों की मायाएँ तोड़ीं, तब सूर्य, द्यौ और उषा को जन्म देते हुए तुमने अपने सामने कोई शत्रु नहीं पाया।
