Rig Veda 6.6

देवीरापो या स्थन क्षपो ये भद्रं प्रवः दक्षं दधाति ॥

devir apo ya sthana kshapo ye bhadram pravah daksham dadhati

O divine Waters, you who dwell in the skies and on earth — you who bestow auspicious strength.

हे दिव्य जलो, तुम जो द्यौ में और पृथ्वी पर रहते हो — तुम जो कल्याणकारी बल देते हो।
