Taittiriya Upanishad
Sanskrit · Upanishad · ~800-500 BCE
The Taittiriya Upanishad belongs to the Krishna Yajurveda. In three chapters (Vallis), it presents the famous Pancha-Kosha model (five sheaths of the Self — food, breath, mind, knowledge, bliss), the teacher's farewell address on dharmic living, and the ecstatic cry of one who has realized Brahman.
