Brahma Sutras 1.17

भेदव्यपदेशाच्च ॥

bheda-vyapadeshach cha

And because of the declaration of difference between the individual self and Brahman.

और [जीव व ब्रह्म के] भेद (अन्तर) का कथन होने से भी [वह ब्रह्म ही है, जीव नहीं] ॥
