Brahma Sutras 1.21

भेदव्यपदेशाच्चान्यः ॥

bheda-vyapadeshach cha anyah

And it is different from the individual self, because of the declaration of distinction.

और [वह] भेद-वचन होने से जीव से अन्य (पृथक्) है ॥
