Brahma Sutras 1.26

भूतादिपादव्यपदेशोपपत्तेश्चैवम् ॥

bhutadi-pada-vyapadesha-upapattesh cha evam

And because the designation of the elements and others as feet is appropriate only with reference to Brahman.

और [ज्योति को ब्रह्म मानने से ही] भूत आदि को उसके पाद (चरण) कहने की उपयुक्तता सिद्ध होती है — अतः यही सत्य है ॥
