Brahma Sutras 1.6

गौणश्चेन्नात्मशब्दात् ॥

gaunash chen na atma-shabdat

If it be said that the term is used in a secondary sense, we say no, because of the word 'Self'.

यदि [ईक्षण] गौण [आरोप] कही जाए — तो नहीं, क्योंकि [वहाँ] "आत्मा" शब्द [प्रयुक्त] है ॥
