Brahma Sutras 15.14

अप्रतीकालम्बनान्नयतीति बादरायणो भयतद्भावाभ्यामनुमानम् ॥

apratika-alambanan nayati iti badarayano bhaya-tad-bhavabhyam anumanam

Badarayana holds that those who do not meditate on symbols are led to the Supreme, the inference being from fear and from the state of being Brahman.

बादरायण का मत — जो प्रतीक का आलम्बन नहीं लेते, उन्हें (अमानव-पुरुष परम-ब्रह्म तक) ले जाता है; भय और तद्-भाव दोनों से अनुमान सिद्ध है।
