Katha Upanishad 3.8

एष सर्वेषु भूतेषु गूढोऽऽत्मा न प्रकाशते | दृश्यते त्वग्र्यया बुद्ध्या सूक्ष्मया सूक्ष्मदर्शिभिः ॥

esha sarveshu bhuteshu gudho''tma na prakashate | drishyate tv agryaya buddhya sukshmaya sukshma-darshibhih ||

This Self hidden in all beings does not shine forth. But It is seen by the seers of the subtle, through their keen and subtle intellect.

यह आत्मा सब प्राणियों में गूढ़ रूप से विद्यमान है — प्रकट नहीं होती। किन्तु सूक्ष्म-दर्शी पुरुष अपनी सूक्ष्म, अग्र्य (तीक्ष्ण) बुद्धि के द्वारा उसे देख लेते हैं।
