Kena Upanishad 3.1

ब्रह्म ह देवेभ्यो विजिग्ये तस्य ह ब्रह्मणो विजये देवा अमहीयन्त | त एक्षन्तास्माकमेवायं विजयोऽस्माकमेवायं महिमेति ॥

brahma ha devebhyo vijigye tasya ha brahmano vijaye deva amahiyanta | ta aikshantasmakem evayam vijayo'smakam evayam mahimeti ||

Brahman indeed won a victory for the gods. In the victory of that Brahman, the gods became elated. They thought: 'This victory is ours; this glory is ours alone.'

ब्रह्म ने देवताओं के लिए विजय प्राप्त की। उस ब्रह्म की विजय में देवता गौरवान्वित हुए। उन्होंने सोचा — 'यह विजय हमारी ही है, यह महिमा हमारी ही है।'
